At McNally Jackson, meet guest author and award-winning artist, Cybéle Young. Young exhibits her extraordinary art and exquisite paper sculptures internationally. In Cybéle’s new children’s book, A Few Blocks, the flat, monochromatic scenes between Viola and her recalcitrant brother, Ferdie, undergo imaginative transformations into brilliant, three-dimensional worlds. This Saturday, Cybéle will read her fascinating children’s books, then help kids and adults create dramatic, 3-D paper sculptures.
